We caught up with Daisy Gardner, our new Registration Executive, to get to know her better…

How would you describe yourself in five words?
Fun, personable, professional, enthusiastic, positive!

What is your most memorable event experience so far?
This year’s ITT Conference in Halkidiki, Greece, was a great experience. From the fantastic parties and hotel to the great attendees I met, it was very special. The highlight of the trip was going on the flying sofa in the sea with my colleagues after the event closed to celebrate our hard work.

Tell us something not many people know about you.
I’m a huge Disney fan, and my favourite film is The Little Mermaid. I’m currently rehearsing for my role in The Little Mermaid musical, which will be performed in November in Rickmansworth. This is something I haven’t done before, so I’m very excited.

Did you always want to work in events?
I have wanted to work for Dellar Davies and in events since I helped my father with the photography for The Travel Convention in Bodrum last year. I loved the experience so much. However, I always wanted to be a firefighter growing up. I was a fire cadet for approximately four years, and I always thought that would be my career path.

What is your favourite thing to do outside of work?
I enjoy going to restaurants when I have the chance. It’s a delightful way to savour good food, try different delicacies, and enjoy good company. I particularly love finding the perfect pairing with a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.

If you could organise an event anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
It would be Australia! The country’s diverse landscapes, from stunning beaches to vibrant cities, would provide a perfect backdrop for any event. Plus, it’s a part of the world I am yet to visit.
