Meet us: Natalie
by Helena Moore, Content Manager and Assistant Producer
We caught up with Natalie Scripps, our Assistant Event Manager and Registration Executive, to get to know her better…
What do you enjoy most about working in events?
Every event is different; from the client, the location, design, and production to whether it is in-person, online, or blended – no two events are the same!
Most memorable event experience?
One of my most memorable event experiences was the 2021 ITT Conference onboard MSC Virtuosa. Following 18 months without any business events due to the pandemic, it felt amazing to be back delivering an in-person event again, especially with this one taking place at sea! My highlights were watching some of the ITT Members take on the Himalayan Bridge High Rope course challenge, as well as the spectacular show by the MSC Virtuosa entertainers.
If you could organise an event anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Rio de Janeiro at Carnival time because of the parades, costumes, colours, music, dancing, and food!
Favourite things to do outside of work?
I love to spend my time outside walking my dog, Teddy the Labradoodle. I am a keen runner and in August 2021 I ran half a Marathon for Mind Charity. You can also find me on my yoga mat or hula hooping in the garden. I believe you should always have a holiday booked so I am always planning my next trip with friends, family, or Teddy.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I once sang at the Royal Albert Hall with my school choir, and I can tap dance.
Do you have any funny stories from working in Events?
Some stories we must keep within the team! 😊
Three essential items to take on-site/on a recce?
Nicked named ‘Head of Eating’ in the office, the first thing is obviously snacks! Then a battery pack charger and plasters.
