First Connections

In January 2024, we collaborated with FirstGroup to bring their inaugural alumni event First Connections to life at the iconic etc.venues County Hall, overlooking the River Thames. The event has continued to thrive and grow ever since, with Dellar Davies supporting with the technical production, venue liaison, guest registration, and event management.

The event brings together senior leaders from across the FirstGroup business as well as participants from their development programmes, aimed at supporting under-represented groups in management and leadership including ethnically diverse men and women, those identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodiverse individuals, and those with a disability.

The conference includes presentations from guest speakers, panel discussions and interactive activities to encourage networking. Delegates have had the opportunity to get a professional headshot; provide feedback in a video booth, and have many featured in the event highlights videos, which are used to bring the event to an uplifting close.

Thanks Elaine Dellar and the rest of the team at Dellar Davies. You all took so much of the stress away from venue search, planning and overall delivery and coordination of the event and in the weeks running up to it. Thanks for a smooth, perfectly executed day!
