First Connections

In January 2024, we collaborated with FirstGroup to bring their inaugural alumni event, First Connections to life at the iconic etc.venues County Hall, overlooking the majestic River Thames. Building on the success of the event, we delivered another successful event in June 2024. We were responsible for the technical production, venue liaison, guest registration, and event management.

The event brought together senior leaders from across the FirstGroup business as well as participants from their development programmes, aimed at supporting under-represented groups in management and leadership including ethnically diverse men and women, those identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodiverse individuals, and those with a disability.

The conference included presentations from guest speakers, a panel discussion and interactive activities to encourage networking. Delegates had the opportunity to get a professional headshot; provide feedback in a video booth, and many featured in the event highlights VT, which was used to bring the event to an uplifting close.

Thanks Elaine Dellar and the rest of the team at Dellar Davies. You all took so much of the stress away from venue search, planning and overall delivery and coordination of the event and in the weeks running up to it. Thanks for a smooth, perfectly executed day and we’re already thinking about a summer event as a follow up!
