First Connections

It was great to be back at etc.venues County Hall in London on Monday for the second of FirstGroup’s First Connections events, building on the success of the launch of their Ascent programme in January. Our team handled the overall event management and technical production, working closely with FirstGroup’s Talent Director and team.
 
The theme of the event was Your Story. The positive and inspiring day was moderated by Sonia Bate and brought together alumni from FirstGroup’s UP, FORWARD and ACCELERATE personal development programmes aimed at supporting under-represented groups in management and leadership including ethnically diverse men and women, those identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodiverse individuals, and those with a disability. It provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to connect, network, share their stories and gain career advice from two fabulous guest speakers – Leanne Cahill and Matthew Syed.
 
We thoroughly enjoyed working with FirstGroup once again on this empowering event.
