Cruise conference

A few weeks ago, we were in Southampton with the CLIA UK & I team to support their CLIA Conference, 2025! Having registered their delegates, booked their rooms and transfers, we turned our attention to producing the screen media and staging the one-day Conference at Southampton’s Guildhall. 

Only at a CLIA Conference, could we start the day with the hosts and client ex com arriving dressed in PJs and singing along to The Broclaimers’ 500 miles – but then again, the theme was Beyond Expectations! The day went on to include a mix of presentations and interviews, interspersed with entertainment, chocolate giveaways, execs being grilled ‘in the hot seat’ and an exciting CLIA Cruise Takeaway to finish, when seven lucky delegates won a cruise.

Staging a performance of Defying Gravity during the Conference, performed by the renowned actor and singer, Louise Dearman, was a highlight of the day for our technical team. With special thanks to our graphics, video, lighting, and audio engineers along with all those involved in the technology, show call and stage management. It is a day that couldn’t happen without their dedication and skills.
