A different kind of cruise, luxury and expedition cruising…

It was wonderful to be back in the office as a team last week to deliver CLIA’s Virtual Luxury & Expedition Showcase. Throughout the event day, we managed live sessions from industry experts who discussed luxury and expedition cruising in destinations such as the Arctic and the Galápagos Islands, while cruise lines presented pre-recorded product updates to help educate travel agents on this specialist area of cruise holidays. After hearing about the awe-inspiring landscapes, incredible wildlife and lavish cruise experiences, the event gave us the buzz to travel again and luxury and expedition cruising is now firmly on our collective travel bucket list!


The event also included a fun quiz with a big prize-giveaway and a new interactive Event Chat feature. The Event Chat stream gave attendees the chance to share images, videos, live photos and comments with each other throughout the event. It was a great way to connect attendees and added a personal touch as the travel agents shared positive comments and selfies of themselves enjoying the Showcase from around the globe.
