Late one January we were asked to help Avis Budget Group stage a global sales summit to take place in March, just seven weeks later.
Finding a convenient location in Europe for a global audience was a challenge at such short notice, but the Conference Centre at the London Hilton Metropole presented the ideal solution.
Themed around Be Extraordinary, the ABG Sales Summit attended by sales teams from across the UK, Europe, Asia and Australasia was a tremendous success.
The event featured three days of plenary and breakout conference sessions; a Greatest Showman themed welcome party; a spectacular final night party in the Flight Gallery at the Science Museum with an awards ceremony in the IMAX theatre, and a surprise ending to the conference provided by a marching military band in full regalia.
Due to the combination of short lead time, global audience and environmental considerations, all the information for the event was distributed to delegates before and during the event through a customised attendee app.
