Dellar Davies was first contracted in 2009 to design and build the Platinum Lounge at the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show. The double decker stand was a peaceful haven where Platinum Ticket holders and Tullett Prebon clients could enjoy a bit of time out to relax and network during the Show.
The Lounge was so successful that it has subsequently been rebuilt to a larger specification and up-dated annually to create a fresh and inviting look.
The 15m x 17m space is divided into two key areas: the ground floor comprises a reception desk, cloakroom, central bar, curved seating and two areas which can be curtained off during the quieter times of the Show and opened up for the busy weekend periods.
The upper deck is used by Tullett Prebon to entertain their guests. This area includs a Champagne Bar and contemporary lounge seating area as well as bar stools and taster tables with a spectacular view overlooking the power boat area.
Using a high gloss finish throughout, an eclectic mix of furniture and a white and blue colour scheme, the Lounge is akin to a boutique style hotel that evokes the spirit of a classical 1920s cruise liner.
At each instalment the furniture is updated to bring a fresh look to the Lounge with additional elements added periodically such as a new Art Deco styled entrance which will feature in the 2013 Show, incorporating the latest AV technology to promote Tullett Prebon's current branding.
